Our History: Founded in May 2009, the vision of the NABC Wives is to utilize our diverse network of women to enrich the lives of those in our surrounding communities where we live. We are dedicated to raising funds and creating awareness for charities that promote self-help or access to quality health-care.
In July 2009, the Board of Directors decided on a more specific focus inspired by a growing body of research that linked athletic participation to the reduction of social issues and the development of life skills. The Board of Directors agreed to initiate 3 programs that would best leverage the resources that were available to our members as coaches wives. The Hoop Dreams Grant is our primary fund distribution and provides financial assistance for participation in athletic leagues.
Our Leadership: The association is governed by eight directors. The Board of Directors has general supervision and control of the business and affairs of the association. The current officers are:
